ezumi Enterprise Agent Platform
The ezumi Enterprise Agent Platform provides an application programmer with a
solid framework to build, deploy and run specialised applications that can sense,
reason about and respond to business events in real-time. Each application comprises
a collection of software agents that coordinate their behaviours through the exchange
of business-level messages. ezumi offers location-independent, high-performance
communication among agents as well as a detailed messaging model for
implementing interactions among agents.
A system developed and deployed using the ezumi Enterprise Agent Platform offers a
range of high-level abstractions that facilitate the integration of communication and
interaction resembling those of real-life participants within an organisation. While
today's enterprise information systems technologies are largely based on metaphors of
data management and data flow, ezumi emphases the fundamental role of agents
imbued with knowledge about what is known and what needs to be achieved.
ezumi promotes the concept of an agent having total control over its own data so that
one agent cannot gain direct access to another agent's data. An agent wanting access
to another's knowledge must ask for it (which may either be provided or denied based
on the relationships previously established).
ezumi is an open standards-based platform that operates within an environment of integrated applications and information sources resulting in complex interaction and communication capabilites that are easily managed within a single framework.

Leading Australian Supplier of Automotive Logistics Services
Following the release of version 1.0 of the ezumi Enterprise Agent Platform we worked with a leading Australian Automotive Logistics organisation to deliver a solution to their ILVS needs. The system integrates with a
prominent car manufacturer to provide real-time visibility into the supply of automotive parts directly to the assembly line. We worked with their business and warehouse process experts to model their supply chain
and developed a system that integrates transportation and warehouse management needs.
Subsequently, we also delivered a high-value, low cost monitoring solution based on our Desktop Event Notification system to provide rapid detection and resolution to potential faults.
